We are a grassroots nonprofit founded by a woman ex-offender for women ex-offenders. We are strong advocates for women and we are committed to providing programs and services that support women in their re-entry efforts from prison to community. We provide a continuum of programs that includes Pre-Release Mentoring to incarcerated women, residential services at Why Not Prosper House and community services at our Resource Center located in Philadelphia PA.Learn More About Us
Michelle Simmons has been accepted into The Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute (NELI), which offers nonprofit executives and
ascending leaders the tools and time they need to examine and refine their
leadership and management skills, while learning new theories and core competencies about nonprofit management.
The Mayor's Officeof Drug and Alcohol Addiction Service selected our organization as a model for service to women.
Our mission is to help women in the PA prison system discover their own strength by providing them with the support and resources that will empower them to become responsible, economically self-sufficient and contributing members of the community.
